DIG BRDIGE DUAL – Integrated Future Skills Development through Agile Peer Learning Circles in Dual Study Programs

The project "DigBridge Dual," funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education, aims to systematically anchor Future Skills in dual study programs at DHBW. The project pursues the following objectives:
  1. A peer-circle-based digital competence ePortfolio will be introduced, which further develops the previous point-in-time process and reflection reports into a continuous reflection flow for better competence development by using situation specific points. The corresponding measures include didactic concepts for transitioning from occasional to continuous reflection and from individual to joint (peer) reflection, as well as technological measures such as an App- and AI-supported learning journal and an ePortfolio as a space for reflection.
  2. A curriculum-integrated Future Skills program for all dual study programs will be developed and practically tested. As proof of Future Skills, an additional OpenBadge concept will be introduced. This program aims to create a scalable and transferable model that can be applied to all DHBW degree programs and locations.
