Resources for promoting inclusive student engagement in higher education
Embrace Diversity, Foster Excellence!
Resources for promoting inclusive student engagement in higher educationMany students face specific challenges and barriers for becoming an integral part of the institution. In order to address these barriers, we must understand them and work towards representing all students on different levels. All students must feel welcome in student engagement and representation in order to reflect barriers and challenges for making higher education institutions adapt and change. The InclusiPHE project (Erasmus+, 2020-2023), involving eight partners from five European countries, aims at making Professional Higher Education more inclusive and student engagement more open to all students. Within this initiative, many valuable resources have been developed.
This document will give you an overview of what has been achieved and developed and which resources you should consult in order to make your institution or organisation more inclusive. The resources contain:
  • guide on inclusive student engagement
  • mapping report
  • policy paper
  • online course for student support staff
  • self assessment tool
  • good practices
  • resource library
